WebJan 25, 2024 · The CM1-DCH dichroic filter cube holds a rectangular optic, such as a dichroic mirror, beamsplitter, silver mirror, or polarizing bandpass filter up to 36 mm wide, 26 mm tall, and 3 mm thick using an integrated clamp. Its compact size compared to other filter cage cubes reduces the distance between cage components. In optics, a dichroic material is either one which causes visible light to be split up into distinct beams of different wavelengths (colours) (not to be confused with dispersion), or one in which light rays having different polarizations are absorbed by different amounts.
