WebIt is varied in my experience, so I judge based on my experiences. I do think the reason NPs get a lot of crap is a few reasons. A) Physicians expect you to be at the same level as them yet be worse at the same time, it is unrealistic B)This mainly applies to PCPs, but to some extent the PCPs fear your encroachment.
