WebIt takes about 20 minutes to do 5000 500 to 1000 points on an AMD Ryzen 5900X with 64GB of RAM. Being Python, FreeCAD only uses 1 core, so it is not like the whole processor or machine is tied up while this is going on. But it is still slow.
