WebI was making my hallways 1 wide because I didn't think it mattered, but I have 140 dwarves and a small one floor fort, so I changed them all to 2 wide (I had to re-smooth and engrave half my fort, lol). My halls are still crowded so 2 is probably the minimum. My next fort will definitely have a single 3 wide main artery!
